Everyone Is Here: A Bedtime Book for Brave Little Readers

A published parody picture-book — frightening artwork, captions of pure existential dread. A coffee-table “worst possible children’s book,” strictly for adults.

Exploring Started: Sept 2026 Updated: Sept 2026

Overview

Everyone Is Here: A Bedtime Book for Brave Little Readers began as a conversation with my friend Megan about how you’d write the worst possible children’s book. I accepted the challenge. If the artwork isn’t unsettling enough on its own, the captions supply 100% existential dread — and the whole thing somehow snowballed from a joke into an actual, published book.

Please Note

It is a parody for adults, and it’s listed as exactly that on Amazon so it can’t wander into the real Children’s section. You should not read it to any children, ever. That is the entire point.

How It Came To Be

A dumb, delightful dare that got out of hand: the joke, the challenge accepted, the art and captions, and finally publishing it on Amazon — mostly so Megan can order a few copies for her friends.

Current Status

Published and available on Amazon (in the adult-parody aisle, where it belongs).
