Myriorama Generator

A creative-writing engine built on the myriorama — generate graphic cards with seamless edges that fit together in any order, and the arrangement becomes the story prompt.

Overview

A myriorama is a set of illustrated cards whose edges line up no matter how you order them (the early-1800s parlor version of an endless panorama). Here it’s a creative-writing engine: a kid (or an adult) generates and then arranges the cards, and whatever order they land in is the story prompt.

How It Works

A Narrative Prompt Generator produces coordinated sets of AI-image prompts (aimed at ComfyUI with Stable Diffusion) that keep the card edges compatible while managing visual motifs and story arcs, so the pieces always tile. On top of that sit themed frameworks with real mechanics — an enhanced ocean / treasure-hunt system with depth layers and weather, and other themes like a western duel. A desktop GUI and a ComfyUI batch processor drive the actual generation.

Current Status

A working generator with documentation, sample card sets, and several narrative frameworks.
