Overview
A studio that automates a specific technique — turning pixel art into a working QR code — where the code’s data is woven into the artwork as sparse, luminance-shifted pixels rather than a black-and-white grid slapped on top. Enter a link, load an image (click, drop, or paste), and download the PNG. Everything is inline, so it works offline with nothing to install.
How It Works
It walks the tutorial’s steps automatically — 3×3 modules, keeping only center pixels, layering over the art — and exposes the judgment calls as controls: a Stamp strength slider (with a Guaranteed contrast clamp the original technique lacks), a Camouflage noise option, Re-saturate, and direct Touch-up painting to erase data pixels over important areas. A built-in scanner self-test (jsQR) decodes the result at three simulated distances after every change, so it fails honestly when a choice breaks scannability. Payload types match QR Studio: URL, text, Wi-Fi, vCard, email, phone, SMS, and location.
Current Status
Live and usable, with the self-test keeping it honest.
