🤖 Character Reference Library — Claude Skill
What is this?
This Claude Skill gives any Claude instance access to the full character library — every teacher, tutor, peer, narrator, domain expert, and challenger — with the selection logic to match characters to lessons.
What can it do?
- Select appropriate characters for any lesson by grade band, subject, and role type
- Generate in-character dialogue that matches each character's voice and personality
- Match peer characters to specific mistake patterns for student-as-expert dynamics
- Maintain character continuity across lesson sequences
- Cross-reference with Story Arc and Game Mechanics libraries for integrated lesson design
- Provide visual descriptions for consistent art generation
How it works with the other skills
Story Arc (narrative structure) + Game Mechanic (interaction pattern) + Character (who populates the story) = a fully integrated lesson with narrative, interaction, and authentic characters.
Example prompts
"I need characters for a 3rd grade lesson on fractions."
"Which peer character models computational errors for K-2?"
"Write dialogue for Ms. Chen introducing slope-intercept form."
"Build a full lesson cast for a 6th grade ratio investigation."
